I’ve Been Using MUJI’s Hanging Toiletry Case for 10 Years

MUJI’s Hanging Toiletry Case

This time, I want to share a pouch from MUJI called the Polyester Hanging Toiletry Case.

I’ve been using it for about 10 years.

That’s why I wanted to share it.

What is it?

It’s a pouch for carrying toiletries when traveling.

It has enough space to hold everything I need.

With this one pouch,

my travel essentials are mostly covered.

What I like

You can hang it anywhere

This is my favorite part.

It comes with a hook,

so I can hang it on a towel rack in a hotel.

It feels like having my own small bathroom space, wherever I go.

Easy to see inside

The inside is designed so you can quickly see what’s inside.

I don’t need to search for things.

It makes everything easier.

Dries quickly

The mesh material helps things dry faster.

When traveling, things often get wet.

So this is more important than it seems.

What I don’t like

It might feel a bit small for some people.

For me, the size is enough.

But if you carry more items, it could feel limited.

You can solve this by using smaller bottles,

but that adds a bit of extra effort and cost.

Final thoughts

This pouch made packing for travel much easier.

As long as I have this and some clothes,

I’m mostly ready to go.

I’ve been using it for about 10 years.

And I still use it today.

In this series, I share products designed by Japanese companies.

If you’re interested in Japanese products,

I hope you’ll check future posts as well.

I also share my daily life in Japan through short vlogs.

If you’re interested in everyday life in Japan,

feel free to take a look.

I’m a 35-year-old Japanese.
I worked in HR consulting at Deloitte in Japan for nine years.
I was fortunate to work with great clients, but over time, I began to feel a certain limitation.

There are challenges that cannot be solved by HR or training alone.
Without sustainable revenue growth, organizations and people cannot truly change.

As Japan’s domestic market continues to mature,
I began to believe that Japanese products and services should reach more people overseas.

With that in mind, I moved to Australia to study marketing and graphic design.

I’ve just graduated.
While looking for my next full-time role, I’m also working on a consulting business focused on inbound marketing.
