Gravevault Boxer Briefs Review | Why I’ve Worn Them for 13 Years

Gravevault Boxer Briefs Review

I’ve been wearing Gravevault boxer briefs for 13 years.

Of course, I’ve tried other brands during that time.

But I always end up coming back to Gravevault.

The reason is simple.

They’re the most comfortable boxer briefs I’ve ever worn.

In this review, I’ll share why I’ve continued wearing Gravevault for 13 years, along with the advantages and disadvantages I’ve experienced.

By the way, the photos in this article show an unused pair of Gravevault boxer briefs that I had kept as a spare.

After all, I don’t think anyone wants to see underwear I’ve already worn.

So I’ll be showing you a brand-new pair, including its original packaging.

What Is Gravevault?

Gravevault is a Japanese underwear brand.

Its biggest features are its silky-smooth fabric and excellent stretch, allowing the underwear to fit naturally against your body.

The style I wear is their regular boxer briefs.

Gravevault boxer briefs reportedly feature a three-dimensional design made from 10 separate fabric panels.

This construction, combined with the unique fabric, seems to create a level of comfort that’s difficult to find in other boxer briefs.

I currently own seven pairs and rotate between them every day.

So Comfortable You Forget You’re Wearing Them

The biggest reason I love Gravevault is, without a doubt, the comfort.

This might sound like an exaggeration, but they’re so comfortable that I sometimes forget I’m wearing underwear.

The fabric feels incredibly smooth, almost like silk.

Even though it’s constantly touching my skin, I barely notice it’s there.

But surprisingly, it still provides excellent support.

If you’re a man, you probably know what I mean when I say that things sometimes shift around inside your underwear.

With Gravevault, that almost never happens.

There’s no uncomfortable tightness, yet everything stays naturally in place.

That balance is what makes these boxer briefs so special.

During my daily routine, I rarely think about my underwear.

But sometimes, when I go to the bathroom, I suddenly realize something.

These really are incredibly comfortable.

Even after 13 years, I still have moments like that.

Compression Wear for Everyday Life

If I had to compare the feeling of wearing Gravevault to something else, I’d say it’s similar to the compression wear athletes use.

Compression wear is designed to fit closely against the body and provide support during physical activity.

Gravevault gives me a similar feeling.

However, it doesn’t feel overly tight or restrictive.

Instead, the fabric gently wraps around your body while providing support exactly where you need it.

In a way, it’s like compression wear designed for everyday life.

There’s also something else I really like about wearing Gravevault.

It puts me in the right mindset.

Just as an athlete might feel mentally prepared when putting on their uniform before a game, wearing Gravevault makes me feel a little more focused and ready for the day.

It’s not uncomfortable or restrictive.

But there’s just enough support to make me feel secure and comfortable.

For me, that balance is perfect.

Why Other Brands Couldn’t Replace Gravevault

I haven’t worn only Gravevault for the past 13 years.

I’ve also tried boxer briefs from other brands, including Wacoal.

Wacoal is one of Japan’s leading underwear manufacturers.

Founded in 1946, the company has spent decades researching and developing underwear and is extremely well-known in Japan.

Of course, Wacoal makes good products too.

But for me, something was missing.

The biggest differences were the smoothness of the fabric and the level of support.

Gravevault has that silky-smooth texture.

And it provides just the right amount of support without feeling too tight or too loose.

I’ve rarely found another pair of boxer briefs that offers both qualities at the same time.

So, in the end, I always return to Gravevault.

I’ve continued wearing them for 13 years not simply because I’m used to the brand.

It’s because I’ve tried other options and still believe Gravevault is the best choice for me.

The Downside: Price

Of course, Gravevault isn’t perfect.

The biggest disadvantage is the price.

Compared with ordinary boxer briefs, they’re definitely expensive.

You might wonder whether it’s really necessary to spend that much money on underwear.

I understand that.

I don’t consider them cheap either.

However, based on my experience using them for many years, their durability is actually quite good.

In my case, a pair typically lasts around three years.

I currently rotate between seven pairs, so I’m not constantly wearing the same one.

I also wear different, looser boxer shorts when I sleep.

That’s because I want to make my Gravevault boxer briefs last as long as possible.

There’s one more thing I want to mention.

I believe that being expensive and offering poor value for money are two different things.

Gravevault is certainly expensive.

But underwear is something we wear every single day.

Being comfortable from morning until night makes a real difference.

And when that comfort lasts for around three years, I think the price is well worth it.

Rather than repeatedly buying cheaper products, I’d prefer to invest in something I genuinely love and use it for a long time.

Gravevault fits perfectly with that philosophy.

Where Can You Buy Gravevault in Japan?

Final Thoughts: Why I’ve Worn Gravevault for 13 Years

It’s been 13 years since I first started wearing Gravevault.

And I still haven’t found another pair of boxer briefs that feels more comfortable.

The silky-smooth fabric.

The comfort that makes you forget you’re even wearing underwear.

And the perfect amount of support that keeps everything in place.

On top of that, wearing them somehow makes me feel a little more ready to take on the day.

Yes, they’re expensive.

But I believe that comfort is worth investing in, especially when it comes to something you use every single day.

For me, Gravevault is more than just underwear.

It’s one of my favorite everyday essentials, and something that has made my daily life more comfortable for the past 13 years.

If you’re looking for truly comfortable boxer briefs, I definitely recommend giving Gravevault a try.
